The system is derived from the teachings of Raja Yoga of Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras, which were written between 100 and 300 AD Some may also refer to this system of Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Raja Yoga, however, the traditional terminology used to Ptanjali yoga practice under the direction of the Yoga Sutras of a number of awards and separate the two. Here we are interested mainly in the traditional system of Raja Yoga is practiced in India since the beginning of the sutra. Raja Yoga is the path of intuition and even psychic awareness. Most of the Yoga Sutras are devoted to the understanding and control of the mind, including the four components of Chitta, Buddhi and Manas Ahamkara. Much attention is paid to how the mind works and works well as different levels and dimensions that exist in the mind. The remaining text describes the steps by which experience is given to self-realization and analysis of the various hazards that may occur along the road.
